EMEA FALL CONFERENCE 2013

DATE:   November 1st and 2nd, 2013

·        FOR DODEA Teachers:  This is the Q1 grading day for most of us, requiring no substitute.  This is imperative as it is not possible to get admin days that require substitutes for non-DoDEA conferences due to a new SOP from DoDEA HQ.  When requesting Admin Day(s), be sure to point out that the SOP does allow for admin days to be granted when no substitute is required.

LOCATION:

·         Gasthof Kessler in Reith by Bad Kissingen http://www.gasthof-kessler.de/   

·         Free wifi and two conference rooms reserved for our use.

·         Parking for 5 Euros




CONFERENCE ROOM/BOARD PACKAGE:
  Includes:

o   THURSDAY OCT 31st: Check-in available by 1400.  Meals are on your own (there is a restaurant in the hotel).

o   FRIDAY NOV 1st: German Breakfast buffet, Lunch cold buffet (meats and cheeses, etc), Evening dinner buffet.

o   SATURDAY NOV 2nd : German Breakfast buffet, Lunch cold buffet (meats and cheeses, etc), transportation to Kurhaus (for tour) and Brewery for dinner (dinner paid separately, transportation provided = designated driver for everyone!)

o   SUNDAY NOV 3rd: German Breakfast buffet, check out by 1000.

·         The amazing deal for our entire conference is based on the purchase of the entire “package” so we are unable to sell parts (less meals, less nights, etc). 

FREE SHUTTLE

·         A bus will make one trip from FRA to Bad Kissingen on Thu Oct 31and return again on Sun Nov 3 with space for up to 19 people.
